My foodie son lives in New York City, and when we visited him one weekend, he wanted to take us to Smorgasburg. What a great idea!

Smorgasburg is the ultimate food fair! Taking place at East River State Park in Williamsburg Brooklyn every Saturday from April through October, it’s a food mecca! With more than 100 vendors, it was hard to decide what to eat.

The vendors at Smorgasburg offer outstanding food, and many of them operate sought-after restaurants in the city. It’s a great way to sample a restaurant’s offerings or unique, exotic foods without breaking the bank.

Raclette, a well-known Manhattan restaurant famous
for its "hot cheese scrape" had a booth. We bought
a bratwurst sandwich that included a scrape of cheese

a donut made of spaghetti carbonara

this ice cream sandwich was incredible-it had brownie
cookies, a Nutella layer and vanilla ice cream!
