Although Boston has outstanding restaurants, we miss California-style Mexican food. In particular, we yearn for Chile Colorado burritos from Jalapenos, an Orange County-based fast-casual Mexican restaurant. Since I haven’t found Chile Colorado in Massachusetts, I learned to make it. This recipe from Allrecipes.com tastes just like Jalapenos’ version. Not-too-spicy, but possessing nice chile and beef flavors, this entrée is a perfect reminder of my old life.
