Travel: Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas

Recently, I tagged along with Kevin on a business trip and discovered what wonderful cities Dallas and Fort Worth are.  Filled with fascinating attractions, amazing barbecue, delicious Tex-Mex food and friendly people, Dallas and Fort Worth are wonderful places to visit!

Below are some pictures from my adventures:

Dallas:

the Dallas skyline as seen from the freeway

the Historic West End, a quaint area filled with shops and restaurants

inside the John F. Kennedy Monument

a tchotchke shop at the Dallas Farmers Market

a display in the Old Red Museum

the Texas School Book Depository, the site of
JKF's assassination

the Dallas JFK Museum-I didn't realize pictures weren't
allowed until after I took this one

a painting from the Meadows Museum at SMU, which has a large
collection of works by Spanish painters

the most amazing barbecue sandwich and banana pudding

tortilla soup from the Mansion at Turtle Creek, one of the experiences
recommended in 1000 Places to See Before You Die

Fort Worth

the entrance to Stockyard Station, a collection of rodeo events, shops
and restaurants

one of the shops in Stockyard Station

I couldn't resist having my picture taken on the steer
(I do look a bit nervous, though)

this chicken fried steak was even better than my dad's, which says a lot

  1. Hope this place turns out good. It’s great that this venue offers services such as catering, lighting, tables and chairs, table linen and parking. I am here to choose venue Houston for my event, glad to know that they do not put any restrictions regarding music played.
