Movie Reviews: Man of Steel, Now You See Me and World War Z

Here's an extra movie review post.  Out of these three movies, World War Z was my favorite.

Man of Steel
Rated PG-13

Though some people think Man of Steel is just okay, I liked it and thought it was entertaining.  Henry Cavill (from The Tudors) does a great job portraying Clark Kent as a conflicted hero who feels he must hide his strength from a world that isn't ready to accept him.  Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe play his noble fathers, Jonathan Kent and Jor-El, with grace and dignity.  Though the last battle scene is a bit drawn out, this movie is worth seeing.

Now You See Me
Rated PG-13

A group of magicians (Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco) match wits with the FBI and Interpol by stealing from corrupt businessmen and distributing the money to the audience.

Now You See Me is a fun, exciting movie to watch, especially if you're into magic.  You may even figure out a few of the tricks.

World War Z
Rated PG-13

After a world-wide outbreak of a rabies-like disease that turns humans into the feral "undead", Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), a former United Nations investigator, tries to find the cause and a cure.

Though zombie stories are in vogue right now, this movie is by far the best of this genre.  I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!  Action-filled, but also touching World War Z is a must see!
